Testimonials

Testimonials are one of the most powerful tools you can use in promoting your SprintSet business. They should be authentic and really aim to connect with the viewer. People respond to emotion, struggle and triumph so be sure that your testimonials cover these key areas and are NOT sales-like in nature. This is a story from their experience, not a direct sales-pitch. You should weave in the request for testimonials into your sigh-up process; mentioning it in the beginning of the process and requesting the interview leading up to day 71. It is important testimonial subjects sign a release before filming or submitting their story for a testimonial for legal purposes.

Testimonials are a great way to showcase the success your clients have had using the SprintSet system. Testimonials may be written, in a video format or even demonstrated in a before and after.

Before and after images are mandatory. The SprintSetter should be made aware of this at the onset of the program that they will be immediately taking a photo and one at day 71 of the program. It is important for them to wear more ‘form-fitting’ clothing, stand on the same BLANK background and in the same position each time. TIP: place a piece of tape on the floor for both the person in the picture and the person taking the picture to ensure the same spatial relationship each time.

If the testimonials are in written format, you will want to capture and write the person’s story in a first-person format as if they are telling the story. It is important to keep the testimonial brief so that it can be printed for in-office promotion but also be shared via social media.

Testimonials in video format should be conducted in a way that requires limited video editing. The client should have the questions ahead of time so that they can prepare their answers. When asking the client to recount their SprintSet journey, it is important to remind them to make their points concise with a total video run time of maximum 2 minutes. Their story should illicit three main factors: What their life was like before losing the weight, what their journey was like and what their improved life is like now.

Videos should be shot in a well-lit, quiet environment. If taking video using a cell phone, it is crucial that you hold the cell phone HORIZONTALLY vs VERTICALLY.
